How long have you been a member of Profit Accumulator?

Since September 2021. So coming up to my first year of Matched Betting. 

Can you remember how you first heard about Matched Betting and what you thought about it? What convinced you to give it a go?

I initially saw it advertised on Facebook but, like so many, I didn’t take the plunge at first. I thought it was too good to be true, despite reading all the good reviews. A few months later a friend of my wife told her that her partner had made a few grand on Profit Accumulator.

I had to give it a go after hearing that, and I haven’t looked back!

Had you ever placed a bet before Matched Betting? Did you know anything about sports at all?

I had placed bets before, mostly daft accas with silly odds and a few quid on the Grand National. I still do this occasionally. I do know a bit about sports mainly football and boxing. I don’t think it makes much difference. You don’t need to be a sports fan to be able to do this.

How easy or difficult did you find it to learn Matched Betting?

Was a bit fiddly to get the hang of it at first but as everyone says, the instructions on the site walk you through the process. I was also very anxious in the early days when the liability was high, in case I made a mistake. But all of the processes do become second nature in time and you get used to dealing with the bigger sums of money. Do check and double check though, especially at first! I have made a couple of mistakes, luckily nothing too costly.

What was your starting bankroll (or cash float)?

I joined the 4k club last week, at time of writing my profit stands at £4114.66. 

Have you bought anything nice with your profit? Or are you saving up for something special?

A few things – a new TV, a weekend away – Matched betting has really helped with that. To be honest though at the moment it’s really helping with the cost of living – maybe not the most exciting but it’s helping us to live more comfortably than we otherwise might. 

Do your family and friends understand how you have made the money? 

Some do. I have encouraged a few friends to take the plunge, no takers yet. 

Are you a person that tracks everything or do you just roughly tot up your total profits every week or so?

I track most of it on the spreadsheet on the PA website. Anything (profit or loss) under a quid I don’t tend to record but otherwise I do update whatever I win or higher qualifying losses.

How much time do you think you spend Matched Betting? When do you tend to do most of your offers?

Probably about 15-30 minutes a day during the week, an hour on a Saturday. Sometimes have the odd day off if I want a break from it or there’s not much to bet on. 

What kind of offers do you do to make money now?

Mixed bag really. I like bet and gets and horse refunds, probably 80% of my profit comes from those. I like offers that get you free spins, can do pretty well out of those.

Trying to learn Extra Places – not the process as much as the volume of bets, which horses to choose. Getting a sense you just have to go for as many as you can and you will end up in profit overall. Similar for 2ups.

How have you found PA's services so far? What aspects do you like the most?

Very good, quick, responsive and friendly. Catapush is helpful, I don’t follow all of the links it sends, but there’s so many offers it’s good to have something to point you to them. 

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of starting Matched Betting?

Give it a try! Go with the free trial and see how it goes. If you like that you can sign up for a quid for a week. You can easy make £200 in that time. 

What would you say to people who think Matched Betting is a scam, gambling, or too good to be true?

I wondered that when I saw the ad for the first time. £4000 later – I can safely say, its not.

What advice and tips would you give to a new PA member who has just started Matched Betting?

It is a bit fiddly at first but you do soon get the hang of it. You will make money, if you stick with it. Use the support on the website and Facebook – there’s a lot of help there for you. And enjoy your profits!

What advice and tips would you give to a PA member who’s just about to start doing reload offers?

To be fair my first month was my most profitable, but not by much. There’s more than enough offers out there to keep you ticking over and then some. I reckon I made about £500-£600 on signups, so £3.5k on reloads.

I am a 35-year-old guy and I have a partner and a young son. I have my own car dismantling business as well as more recent investments. I am saving up for a motorhome so me and the family can go exploring.

I read and checked everything at least three times to start and then it got much easier to understand and now I just fly through the offers.

Fantastic I cannot find a better word. The customer service is brill, so many friendly members its a like a second family to me.

Check, check and check everything again until you are satisfied that everything is spot on. It's a marathon, not a race.

I would advise them to use the free trial and test it for themselves.

Take it slow, work your way up, and check everything at least three times.

(In reference to casino reloads) - never spend more than the wagering requirements for the offer or you will lose money.

I’ve just turned 30. I have a 6 month old and a 2.5 year old. I’m currently not working and am a stay-at-home parent looking after both my children.

I first joined PA in March 2021 - I gave it a go for a few weeks and then quickly got swept up in the chaos of life with a toddler and a being pregnant with our bonus baby! After the birth of my son in December, my partner and I decided that the best thing for our family would be for me to stay at home with the children until they are school age, a variety of factors influenced this decision; childcare costs; work-life balance, etc.

But it quickly became apparent to me that having no income at all would be very difficult for me to adjust to mentally. I have always been very self-sufficient. So in February 2022, I decided to have a nosy back on the Facebook group and see what was what.

Safe to say 2 days later with a bankroll of £100 I had re-subscribed and delved back into it and I can’t begin to say how glad I am I did.

I think it was from googling ‘how to earn money from home’ or ‘how to earn money online’. I will have ended up on a forum with people raving about it.

I remember when I initially read up on it thinking this can’t be right - why wouldn’t everyone be doing it? I then found the PA site and saw the £1 trial offer and thought I wasn’t committing any money by just signing up to view the software and training guides and if after that I changed my mind it was less than a packet of hobnobs I'd spent.

When I then did sign up, I watched the initial tutorial videos and read through the guides, looked up what the exchanges were (as until that point I hadn’t the foggiest what an exchange was) and I decided to give it a go. The website was sleek and easy to use, and the guides were set out so I couldn’t go wrong. All these people on Facebook and multiple forums rave about it so it's got to be worth a shot.

Yearly on the National. As kids, my Dad would always let me and my sister choose 2 horses each, and into adulthood every year I'd have to do the same. That was the grand sum of my betting expertise. I enjoy watching horse racing but know little about it, the same goes for most sports. I'm a willing spectator but by no means an armchair expert!

When I initially signed up £50. The second time around £100.

This time around I’ve just hit £8,000 profit.

Initially yes, every single penny, every single day was accounted for. Now I have a rough idea of where my profits sit for the day. I still track all my bets but I can sleep at night without having to add every penny up every night. Now I’ll do a weekly round-up.

I do it most days when I get the opportunity. My priorities are still entirely my family and my home, but when there’s a spare few minutes I’ll check what I can. Saturdays are easier for me and parenting is shared so I can lock my attention on to it for things that require it more like extra places.

I do both sports and casino now. To start with as I said every penny was too precious to me to consider any form of risk with casino so daily free games were as far as that went. Now I have a bankroll I'm comfortable with attempting casino offers.

I do any profitable sports offer, I really enjoy extra places, started 2UPS a bit late in the season. Horse racing refunds are my most consistent earner - this is probably because they are the offer I can do most frequently given my time constraints.

The PA services and all the team are great. They are quick to pick up questions and respond via the forum and the threads on there really help to make matched betting more profitable.

Give it a go! If there’s anything that confuses you or you stumble with the process, the whole community is brilliant and there is always someone willing to help.

I get it, I thought it too. There’s plenty of information out there to say otherwise and if you can’t be bothered to read that then Matched Betting probably isn’t for you.

Take it at your own pace. Don’t panic if you make errors, we’ve all made them even some of the pros will still make them occasionally. Track everything, just on pen and paper, you don’t need a fancy spreadsheet to begin with. But, tracking everything will show you how your profits are growing which is always nice, helps you to identify any anomalies which someone could help you fix and keeps track of where your money is.

 What advice and tips would you give to a PA member who’s just about to start doing reload offers?

Probably the same, take it at your own pace. I think with every stage you progress to with Matched Betting, taking time to digest the information and get a handle on the processes is really important.

I live with my partner, two children, my dog and I work full time from home.

I joined on 1st May so I’ve been a member for around 6 weeks.

I saw an ad on Facebook for matched betting and to be honest, I’d never even heard of it before. I do like an occasional flutter at the bookies but it was always very small stakes, £1 or £2 here and there on big odds as a punt.

But I do enjoy slots and love sports so I thought it sounded like something I’d quite enjoy, just adding an extra element to it.

I’m a big sports fan but my ‘knowledge’ of sport is very limited - I would never be able to discuss the current form of a horse, or what the handicap of a golfer is for example, but you don’t need any sports knowledge at all to do match betting, you just need to have good attention to detail and be organised.

For me, I regularly watch sports in person and on the TV anyway but this can add even more fun. In a recent golf tournament (no idea which one) I took Rory McIlroy as an EP (extra place) following the instructions on the PA website. Then I spent 3 days watching and hoping he would finish either 6th/7th/8th or 9th so I would win. It made the finishing day really exciting and I was pleased to say he finished 8th :)

I found the original signup offers really clear and easy to understand, although I did spend ages just making sure I’d understood everything and I wasn’t making mistakes. But once you’ve done 4 or 5 bets then a regular back and lay using the oddsmatcher tool is really easy.

Things start to get more complicated when you move on to accumulators and extra places. I still haven’t attempted any 2up’s yet, but I thought I’d get familiar with other things and then go back to these once the football season starts.

I think the guides are really good for taking you through step-by-step and I cannot fault the PA support team, they are amazing at explaining things and helping to clean up any errors you make along the way.

I started with £100 but didn't want to wait for each bet to settle before I could do another signup, so I added another £250. I was able to pay this back after 8 days.

I’ve made £1562.79 in 6 weeks. I keep spreadsheets of every single bet and casino promo I do down to the last penny :)

I was exceptionally lucky in my first week with casino wins on the sports signup offers. On the 888 signup I won £358 and £315 from the Ladbrokes one. But even without those, I am making an average of around £150 a week from a mixture of sports and casino.

Every bet is accounted for, but not in great detail. I have a really bad memory so if I didn’t write it down, I’d forget and lose track.

You just have to trust the process but saying that, I haven’t tried any high-risk ones yet though!

How have you found PA's services so far? What are your favourite features?

The support team is incredible, so patient, so helpful and you never have to wait more than a couple of minutes to get through to them. I love all the tools on the site, I probably don’t use them all to their full capacity but the calculator is used constantly, and the oddsmatcher and EP catcher are always open. I am hoping to use the forum more, as I can see how useful it is, I just haven’t had the time yet.

I would say go for it! I do think you have to have good attention to detail as sometimes you have to act quickly and make sure you have the correct numbers in the correct box. And if like me you like to keep a track of everything then you need to be organised. But other than that you don’t need any sports knowledge or any previous gambling experience and it is lots of fun!

What would you say to people who think Matched Betting is a scam, gambling or too good to be true?

I think everyone is on high alert right now as there are a lot of scams out there and people can be very suspicious and cautious which is understandable. I’m probably one of those people who would usually be quite cynical and I went into this with baby steps, to begin with just in case. I also did some research beforehand to put my mind at ease.

I can say 6 weeks in that it is absolutely not a scam and I have the money in the bank to prove it. You certainly get out of it what you put into it, so for anyone thinking they can spend 10 minutes a day on it and make big money then it isn’t for them.

And for anyone thinking it’s a get-rich-quick scheme then they’re going to be sorely disappointed when they are grinding out £1, £2 and £3 profits at a time.

But if you want an extra income, something you can fit around your current work/family schedule and something you don’t mind putting effort into, then this is a fantastic option. It's making real profits for me and my family.

Take it slowly, read every guide, and watch every video. Don’t be afraid to ask PA support or other members for help. Take it at your own pace, don’t feel rushed or like you’re missing out if people are discussing acronyms that you don’t understand yet. Trust the process.
